My Summer Love

My Summer Vacation is finally coming to an end. I'll be leaving my oasis in a few days to head back to Los Angeles. The amount of love I received this summer was beyond amazing. The time I had with close friends and family will stick in my heart and memories for ever. I had such a blast I would love stay longer but it’s time for me to get back on my grind!  Well I was home I couldn't stop myself from shopping, eating and relaxing. From estate sales, thrift stores, the beach, local fair, BBQ and much more memories I think I’ll do a post of my summer soon. In all it was a summer that I will always remember.  But like they always say good things must come to an end, but just for now! The inspiration I’ve gain from this vacation can fill up a library. I’m ready to accomplish all my dreams I’ve set for myself! My Summer Love is all I needed!

MYNT 1792

MYNT 1792, make sure you remember that name by the beginning of September!  Yesterday I had the chance to skype with the showroom in NYC to view some pieces from their collection. I first saw MYNT 1792 during FFFWEEK and I was blown away! Their fit and designs are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We all know within the plus size fashion world that the quality of garments are not the best. But forget all of that because MYNT 1792 is making sure their fit and quality is up to part with designer name brands. The collection is full of jeans, pants, vest and jackets. I was shown some of the  motorcycle inspired jackets and blazers. The details in these pieces are Sick! The collar on the suede motorcycle jacket is to die for! Then they had to show me the new love of my life which is  the forest color Corduroys. You make be thinking to yourself corduroy Elann? Really? Yes really! These corduroys have a stretch to it that will give a fit you’ve never seen from a corduroy. And trust on this because these pants will definitely be a trend for fall. Summer Breeze

This summer has been an amazing one thus far. From FFFWEEK to BBQs and relaxing at home with family. I must say I'm enjoying every single moment! The one thing that’s a little uncomfortable for me is this damn hot weather! I usually can deal with the L.A heat, but it’s a whole different story when you’re on the East Coast. HUMIDITY!!!!!!!  So, I decided to hit the local beach and catch a little breeze! Had lunch on the shore and to cap it off I took a  ride on a 105 yr. old carousel. Yes, I’m still a kid at heart! I finally had a chance to wear my H&M dress that I cut up and re-designed. I added a train and some knots on the side! Accessorized with my multi necklaces and a clutch!

Freakin Amazing!!

I will always remember my time at Full Figure Fashion Week 2012! It was such a  freakin amazing balls of a time! I meet so many wonderful people who also enjoy fashion and blogging. The Fashion Front members are the most fabulous chic people I have ever meet. I left being inspired and motivated to keep on dreaming and believing in all my aspirations. Let the countdown begin for FFFWEEK 2013!
